Once Upon a Fairy Tale Bookmark and Wrap Bracelet

Everyone in the office has been dying to find a good technique or use for Dina Wakley’s Rosy paint. The color is absolutely gorgeous and we decided that it looked like something straight out of a fairy tale. When paired with our chipboard crowns, it created a whimsical finish that makes it the perfect accessory for the princess in all of us.

Once Upon a Fairy Tale Bookmark and Wrap Bracelet Directions:

Use a sponge to lightly coat a chipboard crown with Rosy paint. If you would like a brighter pink, prime the chipboard shape with gesso beforehand, or for a darker shade of pink, paint directly on the chipboard.

While paint is still slightly wet, sprinkle Glitz Gold Relique Powder over the surface and set with a heat tool. Sprinkle just enough Relique Powder to create a textured look, but do not cover the entire chipboard shape.

Crumple up a piece of vintage lace and sponge some Rosy paint onto it. Leave some white visible to create a grubby, textured look.
