Just a Touch of Sparkle Project by Sarah Donawerth

No reviews yet

Whether you’re creating a gift topper or a stylish pendant necklace, these glitter bezels are the perfect accessory. Making this jewelry project is as simple as filling the bezel with all your favorite materials and topping it off with a layer of resin. However you use them, these bezels provide just a touch of sparkle to all your projects.

Just a Touch of Sparkle Project Directions:

Fill the bottom of hatpin bezel with glass glitter in an even layer.

Layer pieces of clip art or ephemera on top of the glass glitter. I used a piece of lace (which is very translucent when the resin dries) and a small piece of my favorite washi tape.

Mix resin according to the directions and fill bezel to the top. For a domed finish, add additional resin to the top.

Allow resin to set for 12 hours.

Optional: trim the top of the wire on the bezel and make a loop with round nose pliers to make a pendant that can be used as a gift topper or focal piece for your jewelry.

Optional: Paint small designs on top of your resin for an added touch and paint over with sealer.
