Winter Snowflake Cards Project
My friend is throwing her daughter a “Winter One-derland” party for her 1st birthday. She has pretty little snowflakes and shades of lavender and blue decorating the invitation. I must have been subconsciously channeling that picture when I create these cards. I paired her baby blue color scheme with some of my favorite elements to work with — book text and delicate mica flakes. The end result is a winter-themed card set that can be used as holiday cards, birthday cards, or thank you’s for after the holiday festivities.
Winter Snowflake Cards Project Directions:
- Stamp snowflake onto book text in Milled Lavender Distress Ink.
- Cut Artist Paper in half and fold to create the base of the card.
- Glue frosted mica flakes in each corner of book text to add a touch of “snow.”
- Attach book text to card base and add a sentiment from the Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers.
