Washi-Wrapped Tags Project
When I first saw this beautiful collection of washi tape from Tim Holtz, I just knew I needed to do something to showcase the charming vintage patterns featured on each one. I envisioned them as the background for very simple tags, and the finished pieces came out even better than I expected.
To make your own, affix strips of washi tape to a tag either horizontally or vertically. The designs have some transparency, so experiment with overlapping them in some areas. Rub an inkpad along the edges of the tape to add a grungy feel. Stamp a letter on the tag, and attach to a gift.
