Tiny Notes Tucked in a Tin Project
I’ve had an old mint tin sitting on my desk for a while now. I’m not one to hold onto items like this, but its rare flat surface kept calling out to me. The other day I was looking at the tin, contemplating tossing it finally, when my eyes shifted to stack of cardstock scraps. Inspiration hit: I’d make a set of tiny note cards. They’d fit perfectly in the tin, which I could then tuck in my purse so I could have them handy.
Instructions for Tiny Notes Tucked in a Tin Project:
After cutting the cardstock scraps to size, I applied quick, messy layers of acrylic paint. When making several of the same item, I always go the simple and quick route. Choose two colors of paint that will complement each other, rather than take on a muddied, brown appearance. Your finger is the perfect applicator for this.
Once dry, stamp an Unruly Girl using permanent black ink. Finish with a quote from Clearly Quotes.
Make a selection of these note cards, varying the colors and stamps used. Once all your cards are done, tie them together with a bit of baker’s twine.
For the tin, give it a quick coat of acrylic paint. Randomly stamp Textures on the top with permanent black ink. Stamp an Unruly Girl and quote on cardstock, cut out, and adhere to tin.
