Every time I see a gingerbread house, I’m reminded of the Christmas party I went to every year at a friend’s house. Her mother would always have gingerbread houses ready for us to decorate and we’d spend the afternoon icing and attaching peppermints, gumdrops, and candy canes. These tiny gingerbread houses are made of chipboard and can be used year after year to remind me of those perfect afternoons spent decorating with graham crackers and a tube of icing.
Tiny Gingerbread House Directions:
Assemble the houses and hot glue pieces together.
Fill a small resealable bag with modeling paste. Cut the corner of the bag and pipe your design onto your house. Let dry. Tip: Cut the smallest piece off the corner possible so that you have a very fine tip to apply the modeling paste.
With Stickles, add decorative dots to the roof. Tip: Don’t worry about perfection for your design. Mistakes just makes it look more like a real gingerbread house.
