Simple Little Gifts for Spreading Kindness
I recently had lunch with a close friend and we found ourselves talking about 2024 and our hopes for it. We didn’t chat specifically about resolutions; our focus was on the things we hope to do more often in the coming year. My friend shared that she wanted to find ways to make people smile more, and I couldn’t help but make that a goal of my own.
I love surprising people with a little gift every now and then. I usually do this with something small, like a square of nice chocolate or a few tea bags, so I like to put some effort into wrapping the gift so it feels extra special. I also always like to include some uplifting words for the recipient.
Here, I wrapped the gift in a brown paper bag. I then constructed an envelope from handmade paper, essentially folding in the corners until I was happy with the shape. Next, I adhered another piece of paper to the paper bag, and then glued the envelope on top of that. To finish, I tucked some dried flowers inside the envelope, and adhered words cut out from Dina Wakley MEdia Typed Ledgers Set 1. This tiny token of kindness is sure to make the recipient smile!
