My inspiration for this project came from the scalloped edged stamp that is included in the C R E S C E N D O h D O O h D L E S "smitten for hope" clear stamp set. I love scalloped edged designs and wanted to try creating stamped flowers with that particular stamp. The great thing about clear stamps is that you can manipulate and shape them however you want so instead of using the stamp as a straight edge I made it curved to stamp the circle flower design.

I began with some recycled corrugated cardboard and cut down the rectangular shapes. I roughly painted some white gesso on the cardboard. For the flower, I stamped the scalloped flower design onto the cream paper using StazOn ink. I had to stamp the same image 3 times to create the circle flower that was the size I wanted. For the center of the flower I cut out circles in three different sizes using the Savannah paper. Then I crumpled each flower and then flattened them back out and distressed them lightly with brown ink. In the center of each flower I attached a flower brad. Next I glued the flowers onto the cardboard with a strong adhesive. I punched two holes in the top of each piece of corrugated cardboard and threaded through wire.
