Vintage Washi Boxes Project
To alter the boxes I used the various styles of Cavallini & Co. French Ephemera Paper Tapes and attached them to the outside of the boxes. The larger box is the wood art box and the smaller boxes are paper mache boxes.
You can alternate the strips of tape as you like - on the smaller boxes I used the wider beige tape around the bottom and then the colorful tapes on the lids. On the larger box I used the beige around the bottom, then on the lid I used a variety and alternated them.
To make the boxes extra “durable” after altering them, you can paint the outsides with a coat of the clear Matte Collage Pauge.
Use the boxes to store odds and ends or small gifts for friends and family.
