Sweet and Simple Cone for Vanessa: Project by Kristen Robinson

No reviews yet
UPC:

Begin with two pieces of Sweet Bella Paper I used Vintage Poster and Vintage Orange. Cut down to approximately 6" x 6". Glue the pieces together and save scraps. Once the pages are glued (and dry), roll the square into a cone shape. Using a paper adhesive place a small line of glue under seam; set aside to dry — I add a rubber band to the center as this will hold the layers in place as the glue dries.

While your cone is drying cover one of the Sweet Buttons with coordinating paper again using the supplied template. Add to the top of the seam on the cone.

Once the cone has sufficiently dried remove the rubber band. Taking a scrap strip of paper and a floral paper punch, punch out a row of flowers from the blue side of Vintage Poster (saving the flowers for the sign which is created later) cut down to the size of the seam of your cone and glue in place. Punch a hole on either side of the top of your cone and add a streamer of ribbon. As a final touch an Alpha card was added as a gift card for the recipient — I used a V and added the remainder of the name on a scrap of paper.
