Paint inside and outside of a Wooden Box – Fine with black acrylic paint from Making Memories Cityscape Scrapbook Paints . Let dry. Using Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber – Hazelnut lightly distress box by brushing edges with foam tip.

Cut a 5" x 1 1/4" length of Karen Foster – Antique Leather paper. Lightly fold in half along long length. Using the Button Hole Puncher create "stitched" holes along edge. Using permanent ink pen, create "stitches" with a "thread" line drawn between consecutive "stitched" holes. Add dimension to "watch band" by spreading a thin layer of Glossy Accents over the entire piece of paper (place on plastic sheet to dry). Let dry to clear.

Select watch face and watch hands and center gear and attach with Glossy Accents. Use Glossy Accents to create a "crystal" face by edging the face first, then flooding the entire face. Let dry to clear.

Cut a 10 1/2" x 3/8" length across tan & brown paper, ink edges with India Ink Pad. Pull paper through Pewter Buckle from K & Co. - Buckle Slide Assortment. Center buckle approximately 3 3/4" from right edge.

Using one of the Stainless Steel Dog Tags as a template, trace a real photo of your father, or use the image shown from the Photobooth Postcard Book, keeping his image in the center. Trim just inside the trace lines (and continue to trim carefully) until the image fits inside the dog tag. Lightly distress the image with a black ink pad directly applied around the edges.

Adhere picture to dog tag. Tie to buckle with a short length of Natural Hemp Twine. Adhere striped paper with buckle across length of box lid approximately 1" from top edge and over sides. Trim excess paper.

Adhere dried watch face to dried "watch band" using Glossy Accents, centering face vertically on the band. Adhere watch band to box lid approximately 2 1/2 inches from the left edge, and over top and bottom of lid. Trim excess paper.

Find favorite "Father" quote or use one of our favorites: "My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.” Clarence B. Kelland (AmericanWriter, 1881-1964) print the quote in Blackadder ITC or other favorite script font. Increase font size so length of quote is approximately 7 1/2" long. Trim antique leather paper to fit in printer and print quote. Trim paper (around quote) to approximately 7 7/8" x 1 1/8" to line bottom of the longest inside box. Trim other pieces of antique leather paper to 6 1/4" x 1 1/8" and 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" to line bottom of other two inside boxes.
