Waste Not Mixed-Media Card Project
A simple circle punch can be used in so many versatile ways. Stretch your creative muscle by using the scraps and waste that’s left over after circle-punching to create a quick and easy set of cards.
Waste Not Mixed-Media Card Project Tutorial:
To start, simply swipe a dash of Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paint onto the front of your card and then let it dry. If you’re short on time you can use a heating tool to speed up your drying time. Next, stamp images from Cavallini & Co.'s Vintage Numbers Stamp Set onto the card using StazOn Ink in Jet Black. To further embellish your card, carefully circle-punch Art Pop's Wait For Me Sticker Tape but make sure that you don’t throw away your scraps. Use the trimmed circles as well as the left over waste to create artful designs along the sides your cards. This adds a pop of color as well as making an interesting pattern out of the negative space left behind by the circle punch. As a finishing touch, add a Chit Chat Sticker by idea-ology to your card.
