Untraditional Art Supply Ideas
Makeup Sponges and Eye Shadow Applicators
Great for applying and blending chalks and pastels.
Makeup Brush Cleaners
Inexpensive and great for taking care of your nicest paintbrushes.
Old Sheets
Great for drop cloths and photo backgrounds.
Tweezers
For plucking pet hair or lint out of wet paintings.
Instant Coffee Canisters
Great water cups and other studio organization, especially when painted to match the rest of your creative space.
Upcycled Books
When cut into and hollowed out, they are great for storing pencils and pens.
Plastic Food Containers
Add wet paper towels and a sheet of wax paper for a quick and inexpensive wet palette.
