Create a quick and easy, yet artistic earring display using the new, multifaceted MD metal sheets. With so many patterns to choose from, Vanessa picked the Union Jack design for this project.
For the frame, Vanessa found an inexpensive design from a local thrift store. Once you've found a frame in the design and size you want, remove the glass and paint it. For the same mint green that Vanessa uses, mix some green and white acrylic paints until you find the desired color. Allow the frame to dry.
Use the hobby shears, and cut the metal sheet to size to fit the frame. Vanessa painted part of the cut metal sheet with white paint to add a bit of interest. Place the metal sheet inside the frame and secure the back. You can hang it as is, or alternatively use seam binding ribbon or twine to hang it.
Lastly, you can place your favorite earrings on the frame to display creatively, simple as that!
