Patriotic Pinwheel Earrings Project
4th of July is just a few days away and I always try to dress for the occasion. Traditionally, I wear the loudest pair of red, white, and blue shorts ever, but unfortunately there was a small fireworks accident last year, the shorts became red, white, blue, and singed black, and the shorts were retired from use. To replace these rather obnoxious shorts, I decided to create these whimsical pinwheel earrings that can be worn all summer long. In just 10 minutes, create these washi tape earrings in your favorite red, white, and blue hues to celebrate the 4th of July.
Patriotic Pinwheel Earrings Directions:
Cut a 1 x 1” square from white cardstock. Cover on both sides with red stripe washi tape. Cover one corner with blue washi tape.
Cut from each corner towards the center, then fold down flaps into pinwheel shape. Glue with strong adhesive in the center of the pinwheel.
Use a retractable pick to punch a hole in the top of each pinwheel. Attach a jumpring, then connect to an earring hook.
