No reviews yet

If you’re looking for that perfect last-minute touch for your holiday décor and crafting projects, then you’re going to love these mini Christmas trees. These charming little trees are reminiscent of vintage bottlebrush trees, and they are ready to go right out of the box. They can easily be used as gift toppers to make your presents extra special, as delicate Christmas tree ornaments, or as unique, elegant place cards for your holiday party. You can alter the trees with glitter, mica flakes, paint, or whatever else you can think of. Add a touch of magic to your holiday season by sprucing up one of these trees or, better yet, adorn a whole forest’s worth!

Miniature Christmas Trees Place Card Holder Project Directions

Measure the width of the wooden spools, and cut a vintage book page into strips of the same width. Apply gel medium to the wooden spools with a paintbrush, and adhere the book page strips to the spools; let dry.

Wrap the spools with Cotton Candy baker’s twine, and tie in a bow or a knot.

Adhere the bottlebrush trees to the wooden spool with a generous dollop of gel medium, and let dry.

If your trees will be used as place cards, computer-generate your guests’ names, print them out, and cut out the names into small banners.

Wrap the banners around the hatpins, and secure in place with glue or tape.

Embellish the base of the trees with mica flakes by applying gel medium to the spools with a paintbrush, sprinkle on the mice flakes, and gently press the flakes to make sure they adhere.

Stick the hatpins into the trees for place cards, or attach baker’s twine to the tops to use them as ornaments.
