Halloween Party Favor Bags and Place Cards Project
The best part of our serendipity kits is that they come with a group of crafting essentials bundled together that I might otherwise never discover. I was excited to get my hands on our Victorian Gothic Serendipity Kit to see what I could make. I was able to create a couple of projects that are perfect for a themed party this Halloween.
Halloween Party Favor Bags and Place Cards Project Direction
1. Goodie Bags
Stamp Tim Holtz Halloween blueprint images onto white cardstock. Color images in with colored pencils.
Cut out images, and back with black cardstock. Adhere with glue dots. To add a bit more contrast, pair with a larger Project Life card.
Attach the layered cards to black and white striped Bitty bags.
Fill bag with goodies or black tissue paper, and wrap with green jute trim.
For another goodie bag alternative, layer a stamped card onto a Project Life card, and adhere it to an orange or black gift bag.
As an added touch, thread string through skull bead, and layer with metal rimmed grubby tag and vintage ticket.
2. Place Cards
Fill mini glass bottle with gold glitter.
Computer-generate name tags, and then print and cut out into a small banner. Wrap the banner around a Tim Holtz memo pin, and hold in place with glue or tape.
Insert memo pin through skull beads, and then through the bottle’s cork.
Layer die-cut patterned papers and vintage tickets, and mount on memo pin.
