Originally manufactured for use with microscopes, these glass slides are anything but clinical! Artists have used them to create embellishments, jewelry, and additions to journals and scrapbook pages. Often used with copper or foil tape, you simply choose something as your "content", sandwich the material between two of the slides, and run the tape around the edges of the slide. Those wishing to make the slides into jewelry can solder the edges and attach a jump ring – making a unique and custom necklace pendant! Virtually any thin material can be used between the slides, including paper, transparencies, ribbon, photos, clay, pressed flowers, and ink. Each slide is 1" x 3", and each pack contains 10 slides.
