UPC:

I decided to create some very simple, yet elegant cards using the new Down the Rabbit Hole stamp set and 7gypsies Paper Tapes. The stamp images are so much fun so I decided to try using them with Copic pens to add some interest to the characters.

Start by creating the plain white cards. My cards measure 4"x3" so I had to cut out pieces of 4"x6" cardstock and then use my bone folder to score them and fold them in half. Using Black StazOnand the Down the Rabbit Hole stamps, stamp your favorite images straight onto the white cardstock.

You really want to be sure the ink is 100% dry before you color in the images so while waiting you can embellish the cards with 7gypsies Paper Tapes. Cut or tear the tape, whatever you prefer and add simple strips here and there to the front of your cards. My favorite tape is the polka dot from the Victoria Patterned Paper Tape. I used some colored tapes on a few of the cards where the tape blended well with the Copic colors I knew I would be using. Once the stamped images are dry you can begin coloring using the Soft Pastels from the Copic Soft Pastels 12 Pack.
