The Slipper Fits Project
Start by painting the shadow boxwith pink acrylic paint. Allow to dry. Mix Gesso with a little water. Paint over the entire shadow box with the gesso mixture to give it a chalk-like finish so the pink is a little more subtle. Allow to dry. Use the versacolor umber ink pad and lightly distress all the edges and surfaces of the shadow box. Print out a small black and white picture and then glue to the inside of the shadow box door. Pierce a small hole in the top edge of the inside of the box and stick a rhinestone brad through the hole. Hang the slipper onto the brad and then bend the clasps of the brad to attach it securely. Add another small rhinestone brad to the satin ribbon on the slipper. Use as an elegant feminine display or as a gift for someone special!
