This is a great way to use up some old jars, vintage text and old fabric. You can create your own decorative jars and fill them with anything you want. Use them as ribbon, bead, or embellishment storage jars or try filling them with candy for an artistic (and tasty) gift! Begin by cutting out some vintage text paper that fits onto the jar you choose. Glue it onto the jar using the Matte Collage Pauge. Then cut out some "Party Girl" images from the Party Girl Collage sheet and some wings from either the same sheet or the More Wonderful Wings collage sheet. I actually used two sets of wings on each girl to give the wings a "layered" look. Glue the party girl (with wings) images on the front of the jars using the Collage Pauge.

Decorate the edges of the vintage text, the outside of the wings, and any other areas with the Painters Pens. Try doing some scalloped edges as I did, or you can use the pens to write text and much more. Allow the paint from the Painters Pens to dry - this should only take 10-15 minutes on glass. Cut out a piece of scrap fabric that is the size of the jar lid and glue it onto the lid with the Collage Pauge. Then cut out a slightly smaller circle of vintage text and glue that onto the fabric, again using the Collage Pauge. Paint over the entire glass of the jar with the Collage Pauge. This will help protect the collage images and ensure the paint doesn’t chip. To finish it off just add a small piece of Black Scrappers Flossaround the neck or the lid of the jar.
