This Christmas, start a new family tradition of documenting your favorite shared memories with friends and family on a Somerset-esque Christmas tree! Our wire form trees are perfect for creating unique home décor for the holidays. I began by simply spray painting my tree in a lovely shade of light blue. If you opt for spray painting, make sure to use it in a well ventilated area. If spray painting isn’t an option, then acrylic paint will work wonderfully.
To create the ornaments, I used a variety of resin treasures embellishments. For the frame ornaments, I glued some pieces of pixie glen cardstock to the back and added some simple text that I typed up and printed out. You can write about anything meaningful that come to mind, I went with some of my favorite Christmas memories. On the back of each ornament, I used hot glue to secure a loop of seam binding ribbon as well as a piece of white felt over the back.
On the top of the tree, I added a Melissa Frances star embellishment. Hang your ornaments and then just add to your tree every year!
