Loteria Card Box Project by Mona Gettmann
Cut four slits vertically next to each of the corner panels of a Loteria Set. Using a stylus, score the card along the edges of the outside panels, twice each, vertically and horizontally. Using masking technique, stamp the edges and between the panels with a border image from Mexican Symbols Stamp Kit. Heat set ink. Using masking technique again, sponge red ink along the edges and between the panels. Repeat the same steps with a second Loteria card. Fold corner panels under center panels on each end of the cards. Using Hole Punch, punch a hole in the center of each end. Attach a White Eyelet into each hole with Setting Tool. Slip prepared pockets into one of the boxes, Slip the remaining box over the first box as shown. Lace a red cord through the eyelets. Cut out a coordinating Loteria panel from a third card. Attach a White Eyelet in the same way. Attach the card to the cord along with a coordinating bead. Slide the bead along the cord until the cord is taut around the box.
