Laugh to the Skies Project

This mini shadowbox will add some fun character in a little girl’s bedroom… it’s sweet and simple with a vintage edge to it! Begin by cutting out the green grass patterned paper from the Off the Wall 6"x6" paper pad. Then cut three squares that are 1 7/8” x 17/8” of the white paper from the same paper pad. Glue all the pieces in the white solo box using glue dots adhesive. Take the silhouette girl image from the Off The Wall paper pad and attach the paper with adhesive to a thick piece of cardstock. Cut out the girl and balloon images using good quality scissors. Take some scrap cardstock and make two little U-shapes (see the close up pictures for details). Attach the girl using those pieces, with glue dots, to give her dimensions. Accent the box using some small strips of green polka dot fabric tape. Then cut out some small clip art text and attach the various sayings over the tape. In the middle box on the right, add some paper flowers and a button in the center. Hang on the wall or display it on a shelf for some fun, yet vintage character.
