Growing Inch by Inch Project
I was inspired by the distressing tools by Tim Holtz for this project. Also I wanted to incorporate inchies. I discovered that the packaging for the Basic Grey Periphery collection has small images of all the papers that are perfect for inchies! I trimmed the main background paper to 8½" x 11" and then trimmed the green paper slightly smaller.
The photo I used is 5" x 7". I distressed the edges of all the papers and the photo using the paper distresser tool. Then I scratched around the image on the photo using the photo scratching tool. I cut out the inchies from the packaging sheet on the periphery pack and added some cut out pieces of a tape measure and some black stickers spelling out the words. I added a distressed piece of chipboard in the bottom left corner.
