Festival of Lights Table Centerpiece Project
What’s great about this project is that it can be used for Hanukkah or you could use it for a winter wonderland centerpiece! There are many different options but I chose to make mine with a "Festival of Lights" theme in honor of the eight days of Hanukkah. Start by painting a wire tree formwith a few thick coats of white acrylic paint. Once the paint has dried you will need to paint the tree with a sealer so the paint doesn’t chip. Purchase some empty glass ornaments from a craft or discount store. I chose a medium size ornament. Fill all 8 ornaments (if doing a Hanukkah theme the 8 is to represent the 8 days) with silver tinsel. Using some Hanukkah ribbons or your favorite blue and white ribbons attach them to the ornaments. Wrap silver leaf ribbons around the tree and then hang the ornaments from the branches!
