Chalkboard Quote Banner Project
What I love most about creating a chalkboard banner is that you can reuse the banner for any occasion - just rub clean, and write on it again.
Start by painting each of the pennants from the 7gypsies banner kit with chalkboard paint and allow the pieces to dry. Rub the surface of each pennant with real chalk to prime the surfaces.
Cut 1.5” strips of the Melissa Frances Elegance paper. Trace the holes from the banner pieces onto the paper strips and punch out the holes on the paper. Glue the strips onto the top edge of each banner piece and snip any excess paper off the edges.
Attach a piece of the scroll washi tape onto each pennant. Thread some white seam binding ribbon through each pennant to connect the banner pieces together. If desired, you can tie bows with the seam binding in between each pennant piece.
Using a chalkboard marker or a piece of real chalk, write a favorite quote or announcement onto each pennant.
