Historically scrapbooks were kept not only to store photos but memorabilia and scraps of beauty and inspiration. With 7 Gypsies delightful handbag kit all of your treasures and bits of inspiration are artfully stored and available to you at any time in the form of a wonderful little accessory.

First paint the outside of your book with crème acrylic paint (5MA-23751 - DISCONTINUED). Once this is dry begin layering assorted papers and ephemera creating a theme for your book.

Begin assembling your pages in the same manner using images from Alphabets and Ornaments Memories of a Lifetime by Anna Corba (5SPALPHA - DISCONTINUED) as well as Florals and Nature by Memories of a Lifetime (5SPFLORALS - DISCONTINUED), vintage ledger paper, Paris Rubber Stamps by Cavallini (5CPSTAMP/PAR), Bird and Nest Labels by Cavallini (5CPLABEL-BRD), Valentine Labels by Cavallini (5CPLABEL-VAL), and paper by Anna Griffin. Assorted ribbons and Making Memories Brads (5MA-23538) were added to the pages as well as clip art and envelopes leaving spaces for goodies to be tucked into.

Add strips from blank ledger pages allowing for room to make notes and jot down items of inspiration.

After all the pages are altered wrap a rubber band around them (outside of the book) and paint the edges with crème acrylic paint.

While the paint is drying, attach the handles to the front and back covers, so they slip on easily and remain secure.

Add the knob which will act as a closure (also included in the kit) to the front cover lightly tapping the back with a hammer; then add the elastic band through a hole in the back. You may choose to add a long piece of ribbon to loop around the knob for added embellishment.

Once your pages are dry, slip them onto the rings and be sure to take your book of inspiration with you where ever you go.
