Just Because Card Set Project by Andrea Rangno
Whenever I have the time, I often like to create a set of cards, rather than just one, because cards are one of those things you can never have enough of! But I rarely stop at just the cards — giving a handmade card to someone is a great opportunity to really display how much you care. It’s about saying “You mean more to me than a few dollars and a quick trip to the store. You are worth my artistic energy.” For me, that means paying extra attention to the details, such as the envelope that holds a card. These Prima patterned papers and embellishments are perfect for creating a collection of cards that are pretty to look at, and even easier to make. With things like buttons, pre-cut chipboard embellishments, and word stickers, the hardest part will be deciding who to give your creations to!
Make cards from kraft cardstock, and adhere patterned paper. Stamp images and sentiments, as desired. Apply gesso to matching envelopes, stamp frames, and handwrite recipient’s name. Decorate cards with stickers, clothespins, decorative tape, chipboard embellishments, buttons, and twine.
