UPC:

Begin by cutting out the male and female skeletons from the Day of the Dead Paper Dolls book. Make color copies of the skeletons on cardstock so that you have five total skeletons. Carefully cut out the copied skeletons, and cut out five costumes from the book. Using a skeleton as a guide, trace background templates onto five sheets of paper from the Gypsy Market 8" x 8" Scrapbook Pack. Cut out the background paper, moving the scissors back and forth to create an irregular, wavy edge.

Cut five 2" wide strips of Crepe Paper from the Attic Treasures Collection to desired length (the longer the strips, the more ruffles on the edge of each background paper). Glue the strips onto the background papers to create ruffles. Once dry, apply black VersaColor Ink to the edges of the ruffles. Attach the costumes to the dolls, and then glue the completed dolls onto the backgrounds. Trim the excess Crepe Paper from the bottom of the backgrounds to create rounded edges. Affix a thin, black ribbon to the back of the banner.
