Begin with an old coffee can (smaller size is what I used). Paint the can with white acrylic paint. Allow to dry. Paint a section of sticky back canvas with brown acrylic paint that is approximately 4"x11" in size. If you want the brown to be a little darker just add a bit of black paint to it - but make sure you do that in a different container. Once that has dried, cut out the scalloped strips using the Tim Holtz scissors by Tonic. Glue the strips onto the top and bottom sections of the can.
Take a fine paintbrush and the same brown acrylic paint and paint small dots along the edges of the scalloped canvas. Once the paint has dried, paint the outside of the can with a good sealer adhesive, so the paint doesn’t chip. Glue on three flowers with a strong adhesive for embellishments and then glue onto the centre of the flowers three buttons. Inside the can add some coordinating paper roll bundles, pencils, paintbrushes, and anything inspiring!
