12 Days of Christmas Ornaments Project by Audrey Hernandez
12 Days of Christmas Ornaments Project Directions
Start by cutting muslin into 2" x 2" pieces. You will need enough for the front and back of each ornament. On each piece, stamp the Days of Christmas images in black ink. I used photo markers to color in each image and then used a sharpie to color in each numeral for each image.
Tack each piece of muslin to a piece of white felt, and tack a piece of plain muslin to the back so the white felt is between two layers of muslin.
Cut seam binding ribbon into pieces that measure the length of each side of the ornaments. Tack ribbon on the front and back until it is time to sew. For color variation, make some ornaments with the same color ribbon on all four sides, and others with two different colors.
Sew the edges of each ornament with variegated (gold/brown) thread. When done, thread twine through each ornament so that it can be hung.
