Words of Affirmation Drink Markers
I love having a small group of friends over to toast the New Year. We keep it simple with just a snack or two and share a nice bottle of sparkling wine or champagne. To ensure we don’t lose track of our champagne glasses, I decided to make these quick and easy drink markers.
This project couldn’t be more simple. Let each person select which word tag they’d like to use as their marker. Next, all you need to do is string ribbon or twine through a word tag, and tie it around the stem of the glass. For a little extra something, you can add some dried flowers. Encourage each person to take their drink marker home as a way to remember this special occasion.
For this project, I used the Idea-ology Thought Tokens by Tim Holtz. Due to their popularity, Ranger Ink's tokens and word bands are often back-ordered, but check back soon! We'll be adding more to The Shoppe as soon as they become available.
