For me, a burning heart always bring me memories of Mexico and Frida Kahlo and I thought a niche would be the perfect fit for it, don't you think so?
Burning Heart Project Directions:
Cover the heart with metallic or iridescent paint and let dry.
Stamp image onto heart.
Paint the flame with the yellow acrylic, and add little touches of red. Let dry and then cover with the gold acrylic paint. Let dry.
Join them with the wire and set aside.
Remove the cover from an old book and draw an arch on the first page. Use a craft knife to cut enough pages so the heart can fit easily into it. Paint the page in the background red acrylic paint and let it dry.
Draw scalloped edges around the arch and spray everything with Walnut Stain Distress Spray Stain.
Glue the burning heart in place and enjoy! You can also add wings to it for a more dramatic effect.
