Used for the same applications as the GOLDEN® Gesso, this gesso is pure black, and is sometimes the background color needed for that special project. Black Gesso provides a rich, matte black ground. Many colors, especially metallic and interference colors look dramatically different on a black ground. The Black Gesso is also flexible when dry, and can add variety to the effects in your altered books.
