Mixed-Media iPad Case Project
We were so taken with Kelly Rae Roberts’ new iPad skins that we decided to make an iPad case inspired by her gorgeous designs. We used black Kraft Paper Fabric, a new product by Kraft-Tex, because it’s durable enough to be machine-stitched and machine-washed, but can also be painted and stamped on like normal paper.
To begin, cut out the Kraft Paper Fabric using the free template provided with each roll. The template is for an iPad Mini, but you can simply adjust the measurements by laying your iPad directly on the Kraft Paper Fabric and tracing around it with a pencil. Once you cut out your Kraft Paper Fabric, use the cut-out as a template to create a matching layer of felt. When you have your Kraft Paper Fabric and felt ready, layer and fold into the shape of an iPad Case. For the sentiment decoration, cut a strip of Kraft Paper Fabric, layer it with a frayed fabric ribbon, and machine-stitch. Next, layer the strip with the folded iPad case, and machine-stitch it along the top.
Now that all your pieces are put together, use Dina Wakley’s Lime, Turquoise, Ruby, and White Media Heavy-Body Acrylic Paints to stamp various textures onto the front of the case. I used the Collage Cube by Christine Adolph and the Mixed Media Tim Holtz Cling Mount stamp by Stampers Anonymous. Once the paint dries, use the Fancy Feather Stencil by The Crafter’s Workshop and Faber Castell’s Stamper’s Big Brush Pen in White to stencil a feather design onto the right side of the case. Finally, stamp a sentiment onto the frayed fabric ribbon using the Typewriter Alphabet Clearly Impressed Stamp Set by Julie van Oosten, and Dina Wakley’s Media Black Gesso paint.
Your finished product is a beautiful, personalized, and inspiring iPad case.

Our subscriptions ship directly from our printer in Wisconsin. For this reason, we need to be notified of your change of address at least two months before the next issue comes out, or it will be sent to the address we had on file and provided to our printer at the time it was due.
How to Notify Us About Your Change of Address

Mail Forwarded by the Post Office
If you forward mail to your new address through the Post Office, it won't apply to periodicals/your magazine subscription unfortunately. Also, since mail forwarding only lasts for a short time-frame, we request that you still notify us of your address change to prevent any service interruption to your subscription.
Stampington & Company cannot be held responsible for replacing "lost" issues from your subscription, if we did not receive your change of address request at least two months prior to your next issue's release date.
Subscription issues should arrive within the first week of the month your publication is released. Please add up to two weeks for international delivery.
If your magazine has not arrived by the 20th of the month, please contact our customer service department, so we can check to make sure nothing is amiss with your subscription, and see if you're eligible for a replacement copy. International subscribers can receive a digital version of the magazine as a replacement if one attempt has already been made to deliver the print edition to you.
