Bitten by Bullet Journaling
I feel comfortable saying that most artists and crafters are aware that bullet journaling is one of the hottest trends out there. It’s easy to see why: It requires very little supplies and the possibilities are truly endless. It’s a great way to get organized as well as do a little list making. With just a pen and a ruler, you can keep track of important dates as well as record books you’ve read or wanted to read, movies you’ve seen over the year … you get the idea.
One of the things I enjoyed doing at the start of this year was to create title pages for each month, which included a trait, such as “kindness” and “patience,” that I wanted to focus on. I wanted to keep things simple. I really don’t like a lot of bulk in my bullet journal since it goes everywhere with me.
My current obsession is tissue paper. It’s a great way to add pattern and color to any project while weighing next to nothing. I chose to use tissue paper as the background for each of my monthly title pages. Unlike scrapbook papers, it will be flexible and stay put once adhered. Just a little bit of gel medium is all that is needed to cover a page with tissue paper. Once dry, I cut a circle out from scrapbook paper and adhered it onto the page. Originally I tried to rubber stamp the name of the month directly onto the scrapbook paper, but here’s a secret: I messed up. Several times. It happens! So, I used a combination of washi tape and cardstock to cover up my mistakes. From there, all it took was a couple of doodles and a rub-on to complete the look. What’s really neat about these rub-ons is that they are adhesive, so you can apply embossing powder, foil, or glitter to make a really striking effect. If you use glitter like I did, I recommend using a spray sealer to keep it in place.
Tip
One of the scariest things about journaling is the thought you might mess something up. It’s probably going to happen, so just remember you can easily cover up mistakes with washi tape, paper, or paint.

Our subscriptions ship directly from our printer in Wisconsin. For this reason, we need to be notified of your change of address at least two months before the next issue comes out, or it will be sent to the address we had on file and provided to our printer at the time it was due.
How to Notify Us About Your Change of Address
- Email the following to customerservice@stampington.com:

- Your old address

Mail Forwarded by the Post Office
If you forward mail to your new address through the Post Office, it won't apply to periodicals/your magazine subscription unfortunately. Also, since mail forwarding only lasts for a short time-frame, we request that you still notify us of your address change to prevent any service interruption to your subscription.
Stampington & Company cannot be held responsible for replacing "lost" issues from your subscription, if we did not receive your change of address request at least two months prior to your next issue's release date.
Subscription issues should arrive within the first week of the month your publication is released. Please add up to two weeks for international delivery.
If your magazine has not arrived by the 20th of the month, please contact our customer service department, so we can check to make sure nothing is amiss with your subscription, and see if you're eligible for a replacement copy. International subscribers can receive a digital version of the magazine as a replacement if one attempt has already been made to deliver the print edition to you.
