Who? Who? Don't You Wish You Knew? Project
Fall is by far one of my favorite holidays. Every year I find myself which a huge amount of pictures from the fall with images of family, friends and all the festivities. So I decided to create a special Halloween-themed book with a little vintage flair to use for pictures and journaling.
The first step is to get all the pages prepared and in correct order. Cut down the solid cardstock colors (black, brown and blue) to 4 ½ "x 6 ½ "in size. Tear out pieces of vintage book paper. The ones I used were just slightly bigger than the cardstock pages which is perfect because I wanted the edges of the vintage book paper to be exposed and hang over the edges of the main pages. Ink the edges of all pages with black ink. Start assembling the pages in order. I alternated the cardstock colors by using black, brown the blue and repeated that order. Once you have done that, insert the Halloween postcards wherever you like and also the vintage book pages. Use the Bind-it-All to bind the book together with a copper owire.
Cut down quads papers from the Artist Paper Quads Pack that coordinate with the color scheme. You will need to cut them down to 3 ¾" x 5 ¾ ". Ink the edges with black ink. Attach them to pages and use as the background for Halloween-themed picture. Print out the FREE download images and cut out, then attach to pages as desired. Decorate all the pages with assorted German foil scraps. You can easily glue the foil scraps down with liquid adhesive. Place pictures anywhere desired throughout the book, and journal on any of the pages. When decorating the book I used an assortment of Black and Copper foils.
