Tidy Trimmings Project
I'm a firm believer that you can never have enough muslin drawstring bags. They can be used in so many different ways and hold up to a variety of different techniques. They're one of my favorite ways to wrap a gift. Sometimes I'll go a little overboard, and dye or stamp (or something both) the bags, but I also love keeping everything simple and tidy.
I was recently given a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday. Though the flowers had wilted and dried up, I just couldn't part with the gorgeous green leaves and stems that were used to fill the bouquet. So, I decided to salvage those and use them with my trusty muslin bags. Tying a simple sprig to the bag really creates an elegant look. To make things a little festive and personal, you could also attach a handmade ornament. This is such a wonderful way to wrap gifts, and it only takes a couple minutes, making it ideal for this time of year.
