Seed Packet Project
https://stampington.com/art-stampsThe Cavallini & Co. vintage postcards reminded me of vintage crate labels with their stunning illustration and vibrant colors. I decided to pair the postcards with a waxed bag filled with wildflower seeds. For an added touch, I added some lace, twine, and a stamped tag.
A simple yet stunning piece makes the perfect party favor or just-because gift for a friend.
Seed Packet Project Directions
Fill a wax bag with wildflower or bird seeds.
Fold the top of the bag a couple of times. Mount the postcard on a waxed bag to line up with the fold.
Holding the postcard in place, machine stitch the folded edge to seal the bag.
Glue a piece of lace onto the bag for an added touch.
Stamp words onto a grubby tag with black ink. Cut the grubby tag down to size.
Wrap the bag with twine. Thread the tag onto the string, and knot to hold in place.
