Quick & Easy Embellished Tote Project
Who doesn’t love a good tote? I have at least a dozen at home that I rotate through. So when we started carrying them in The Shoppe, I knew I had to get my hands on one and — of course — make it my own.
Quick & Easy Embellished Tote Instructions
Cut a strip of ruffled red striped fabric to fit the top edge of the canvas tote. Attach the fabric with hot glue, one section at a time.
To add a pocket, stitch or glue a Merry Mini Muslin Bag from our Handmade by Somerset collection to the front of the bag. If you would like to alter the pocket like I did, make your alterations before attaching it to the bag. I sewed a Tim Holtz Metal Word Band and a button on with red thread, but you can stamp, stencil, or embellish however you want!
