5 Creative Touches to Add to Your Workspace
Most of our contributors have shared that they feel most inspired in their studios and workspaces when they are able to easily see what supplies they have on hand. A lot of unique items are quickly forgotten once they are tucked inside a drawer and out of sight. It’s also incredibly inspiring to look around and see some of your favorite things on display. Here are some of our favorite touches we’ve added to our own workspaces.
- Think twice before you throw certain things in the garbage. An old shutter can become the perfect place for your inspiration board. You can easily attach anything you want with tape, clothespins, or by simply folding the item over one of the slats.
- If you’re lacking a green thumb, bring florals into your space by wrapping a pretty fabric around a plain plant pot. This is a great way to keep a favorite pattern in eyesight and can be easily switched out whenever you want.
- What creative person doesn’t love some pops of color? Arrange your library by color for inspiration that covers the entire spectrum.
- Bring a little nature indoors and use a sturdy stick — you can paint it or leave it natural — to hang necklaces, fibers, or even strips of fabric you want to keep nearby.
- So much of creativity is about trial and error. Create an installation out of old canvases that never quite worked out to remind you that beauty can be found in anything.

Our subscriptions ship directly from our printer in Wisconsin. For this reason, we need to be notified of your change of address at least two months before the next issue comes out, or it will be sent to the address we had on file and provided to our printer at the time it was due.
How to Notify Us About Your Change of Address
- Email the following to customerservice@stampington.com:
- The publication(s) you subscribe to
- Your name and new address
- Your old address

Mail Forwarded by the Post Office
If you forward mail to your new address through the Post Office, it won't apply to periodicals/your magazine subscription unfortunately. Also, since mail forwarding only lasts for a short time-frame, we request that you still notify us of your address change to prevent any service interruption to your subscription.
Stampington & Company cannot be held responsible for replacing "lost" issues from your subscription, if we did not receive your change of address request at least two months prior to your next issue's release date.
Subscription issues should arrive within the first week of the month your publication is released. Please add up to two weeks for international delivery.
If your magazine has not arrived by the 20th of the month, please contact our customer service department, so we can check to make sure nothing is amiss with your subscription, and see if you're eligible for a replacement copy. International subscribers can receive a digital version of the magazine as a replacement if one attempt has already been made to deliver the print edition to you.
