Pack It, Wrap It, Bag It 3 Creative Packaging Ideas Project
‘Tis the season for packaging and gift wrap! Whether it’s bags, wrapping paper, or decorative boxes, we can’t just settle for the store-bought options. Instead, we’ve come up with three packaging ideas that are sure to inspire you this holiday season.
With One Stamp Project Instructions:
1. Pack It
Create a collection by gathering an assortment of trinkets and embellishments that all have a cohesive feel to them. This crafting kit is perfect for the artist in your life.
Layer glittered stickers below a stack of cards and envelopes wrapped with red baker’s twine.
Wrap lace around distressed clothespins, and red ribbon around a grubby tag. Cut scraps of vintage text and ephemera and package in a glassine envelope, and adorn with a glittered sticker.
Roll vintage sheet music into a scroll and tie it with gold metallic twine.
Fill tart tins with buttons and trinkets, and a glass test tube with mini wood alphabet tiles.
Package all of the goodies into a tissue paper lined box.
2. Wrap It
Mix and match wrapping paper. We used plain Kraft paper, one of our favorite products, which paired perfectly with Cavallini & Co. Holiday Santa decorative wrap.
Add a decorative Cavallini & Co. Vintage Christmas Label holiday sticker to one of the Kraft packages. Tie with gold twine, and adorn with a dyed bottle brush tree ornament.
3. Bag It
Glassine bags are one the most universal items we carry at The Shoppe. They are perfect for creating a little mail art, creating scrap stashes for a girls’ night out, and also for wrapping gifts.
Simply place your gift in the glassine envelope (we chose a small art journal and markers). Fold flap over and either tape or stitch it shut.
Fill envelope with scraps of paper from Cavallini and Co. Christmas Birds Parcel Stationery Set. Wrap with red twine. Adorn with a Tim Holtz Christmastime Flashcard and a small white clothespin, along with a bottle brush tree.
