Out of Limitations Comes Creativity Mixed-Media Project
I’d wanted to use Prima Marketing’s Resist Canvas in project for some time now, but was never quite sure what to make with it. I suddenly got the urge — some might call it whisper from my muse — to use the canvas together with Faber-Castells Mix & Match Gelatos. Once the gelatos hit the canvas, it didn’t take long for me to get inspired.
They provided a fun, watercolor effect, blended beautifully, and were super easy to work with. What have you done lately to push past your limitations?

Cut Prima Marketing Honeycomb Resist Canvas to size.
Apply pink, purple, and blue gelatos onto the surface of the resist canvas, and blend the gelatos with water. Once you have achieved your desired color, set the canvas aside to let it dry.
Once the canvas is dry, splatter black paint onto the background.
Stamp Dina Wakley’s Lonely Girl stamp onto a sheet of white paper, and cut out.
Add a strip of colored burlap to the background, and then attach the girl over the burlap.
Add small talk stickers.
Mount the resist canvas onto a sheet of black cardstock with glue dots.
