Illuminating Ledger Candles Project

Everyone can benefit from a few uplifting words every now and then no matter what your mood may be. One of my favorite ways to share such sentiments with my loved ones is to put them on a candle so that each time they light it, they know that I’m thinking of them and sending them strength. The Dina Wakley MEdia Typed Ledgers are perfect for this.

Thoroughly clean and dry an old jar. Cut words from Typed Ledger to create an encouraging message, and use gel medium to glue the pieces to the jar. Add twine or ribbon to the neck of the jar. Insert a votive inside the jar, and light the candle whenever you need a little extra strength. You can also adhere the words to any store-bought candle that is in a vessel with a smooth surface.
