Give a Little Gold: Quick and Easy Packaging Ideas
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but you know what isn’t wonderful? Wrapping. I hate it. My corners end up crooked and the paper tears — not to mention the year that all my gift toppers came untaped and all the gifts got mixed up. Dad opened fuzzy slippers, Mom got a book on World War II tanks, and my sister got the dog’s squeaky toy. It was a disaster. So this year, I’m skipping the wrapping paper and tape, and I’m opting for simple, elegant gift wrap that doesn’t make me want to tear my hair out!
Give a Little Gold: Quick and Easy Packaging Ideas Directions:
1. Kraft Packages:
Place your gifts inside kraft boxes. Tie with seam binding ribbon.
Top with a white tag. Add a rub-on detail to the bottom corner of the white tag and address with coordinating metallic pens.
2. Gift Card Holders:
Place glassine envelopes on a flat surface. Cut out and arrange metallic rub-ons on surface, then rub hard with the edge of a popsicle stick. Peel away backing.
Place gift cards inside and seal with washi tape. If you don’t want gift cards to be visible from the outside, wrap a piece of white paper around the gift card before placing it inside.
