Gilded Sentiments Tag Project

In the July/August issue of Somerset Studio, there were tons of inspiration for using plain shipping tags to make beautiful artwork. Taking the cue, these tags are beautiful pieces of mini artwork that can be tied to a package, hung on the wall, or placed anywhere that you need inspiration.

Gilded Sentiments Tag Project Directions:

Paint one tag with black paint. Paint the other two tags with a mixture of Fuschia and black or Ocean and black paint.

Apply texture paste through Concerto stencil with a palette knife or old credit card.

Allow texture paste to dry completely, then apply Metallique Wax over entire surface. The best way to apply the metallic wax is to dab your finger into the wax and use your finger to smooth it into the rough edges of the texture paste. Be careful not to use too much or it will gunk up the areas between the texture paste.
