Image Transfer onto Candles Video

UPC:

Transferring images onto candles is an old technique but still very classic and it really makes an impact! It's so easy and a great way to create a quick and easy home décor or gift project.

Start by stamping your image onto tissue paper with StazOn ink. Cut the image out as close as you can to the edge of the image. Take a long, rectangular piece of wax paper and place it over the stamped tissue image on the candle, ensuring the image is placed exactly where you want it. Using the wax paper will prevent your fingers getting to hot while heating the candle.

Switch the coloriser heat tool onto the low setting and start heating the stamped image. You will know when the image has been melted/transferred because you will notice the wax of the candle (underneath the wax paper) starts to look glossy. Once it's ready switch off your heat tool and then peel the wax paper off to reveal the image!

Add any embellishments that you like and try using different techniques! Using colored inks can have a great effect and using multiple stamped images can look amazing also. For sample A I used the wood mounted stamp and for sample B I used the swirl images from the clear stamp and stamped them multiple times onto a long piece of tissue then transferred the image. Watch the FREE how-to video to see the technique!
