Whimsy Tote Bag Project by Claudine Hellmuth
This whimsical tote bag by Claudine Hellmuth features the new layering stamps and paints from her namesake collection! Also featured are some fun new stencils by Julie Fei-Fan Balzar. Try using any of the ready-to-alter craft totes available at The Shoppe for your blank canvas!
To begin, apply the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Yellow Pastel paint to an ink blending tool with a foam applicator. Tap the ink blending tool onto the Creative Layers Foam Stamp from the Dwelling set. Stamp directly onto canvas tote bag. Studio paints are 100% waterproof so you can use them on fabric applications! Continue stamping the Creative Layers foam stamps in a variety of colors until you have a design that you like.
To add black outlines to your foam stamped images, use the Rock-a-Block as your stamp mount, and stamp with either Ranger Archival Black Ink or StazOn Ink and the Creative Layers Clear stamps from the Bloom set.
Use the blending tool with stencils. Add dimensional dots around the flowers using the nib of the mini Studio paints.
