Wedding Table Favors Project
I love a good repurposed/greencraft project. I recently acquired some old wine glasses from a friend and simply didn’t need them at home so I thought I would repurpose them and create a wedding favor project. This can also be done for any type of party where a wine glass would be suitable for adding favors.
Alcohol inks work wonderfully on non-porous surfaces. You can create unique effects by blending various colors together, or just use one color. I chose to use a light blue that is suitable for weddings. First squirt some of the blue alcohol ink onto the applicator, then dab it around the glass. Use the silver ink, by squirting some drops of it directly on the glass and let it run down. Put the glasses aside to dry.
Add a little wedding bling to the project by tying some white seam binding ribbon around the neck of the glass and securing a bow. Add a brooch embellishment to the center of the bow. Fill the glasses with yummy treats or any kind of handmade favor!
Note - Ranger Alcohol Inks are non-toxic; however, we recommend you take care when altering items to use for food storage with any kind of paint or ink.
